Quick Highlights (tick points)
At the heart of SCIS is care. Every student has a network of tutors, teachers, and mentors to guide them. Our pastoral system emphasises emotional well-being, resilience, and a safe environment.
Food is an important part of school life, especially for our boarding community. All meals are freshly prepared by our in-house chef, Mr George Mavromoustakis, who runs our catering facilities. Our kitchen serves only Halal meals and offers vegetarian and alternative options for students who do not eat certain meats. Menus blend traditional and international flavours, with themed meals that support cultural learning and keep dining exciting.
At SCIS, learning doesn’t end when lessons do. Our students explore passions, discover talents, and develop lifelong skills through a wide range of opportunities from competitive sport and creative arts to robotics, technology, and extracurricular clubs. These experiences build confidence, teamwork, and creativity, preparing every student for life in a global world.
We believe in leaders at every level. Student Councils, peer mentoring, and Round Square roles give students real responsibility and the chance to make their voices heard.
